While in the race, don't forget to admire the breathtaking landscape of the island! The sea is always in your sight and as you get closer to the Simos beach where the finish line is, white sand dunes and turquoise water will wait for you!

Simos camping is the finishing point, at the gates.

Water and fruits will be waiting for you to refuel and quench your thirst.

I’ m a first-time runner can I still take part?
Absolutely. This is a community race, you are running with others, for others. If you need to walk then walk, take in the sights and enjoy the atmosphere, this is about enjoying the race, not becoming a champion. There are two distances to choose from (2.5, 5 km, 10 km ) so you can choose the race that best suits you. When you take on the challenge, forget about your split times and revel in that finishing line feeling, however long it takes.

What if I’m unable to finish the race?
We will give each participant a total of 2 hours to complete the course. At this time we will collect any runners who are still out on the course and bring them to the finishing line with plenty of water, snacks, and hugs. If at any point you wish to stop, just make it to the next aid station to inform one of our volunteers or, if you want to stop right there, let a fellow runner know to inform him instead. There will be staff observing the course to ensure everyone is alright.

What will the weather be like during the race week?
The first days of July are almost the heart of the summer in Greece so rain or temperature below 20C would be a big surprise for everyone. In the daytime temperatures are generally in the low 28s, the maximum is usually around 32-35 C. At night it can get down to 24C.

Will there be medical support?
Yes, we will have qualified staff for this reason.

Are there water stations along the way?
Water stations will be roughly every 2.5 km. They will be stocked with water and bananas. If you have particular energy bars and drinks that you love then bring them along with you. We advise runners to wear a hat and carry water and energy snacks with them – it’s a course with little shade after all.

Is there a discount for underage students?
There is no discount for underage students as every service you book at the starter price is at its lowest possible price booked for you.

To participate in the races requires full acceptance of regulations:

1. Athletes competing should understand that they are moving in an open, exposed to particular weather conditions that will prevail on that particular day of the race.
2. Men and women of all ages are accepted.
3. Participants who have not reached 18 years of age are required to submit a statement from their parents.
4. Valid participation is considered to be valid after it has been paid off financially.
5. The maximum number of participants for the event is three hundred (300) people, complying with all the necessary measures to protect everyone against the virus Covid-19. The number of tickets available for an online purchase is 300 in total.
6. The entry fee is €12.00 (participation ticket only) per subscription. There is an extra (optional) fee for the Bundle (Ticket + Nike Dry-Fit t-shirt) at €29.90 for orders until May 22nd, 2022 for pick-up delivery at Stin Akri Cafe on the island.
7. At any time, the Collectible Nike T-Shirt may be purchased online at www.dailynutrafitshop.com.
8. Delivery of the t-shirt for the race: Orders up until the 16th of May 2022 will be delivered on the 10th of June at the Welcome Pack Pick Up. Orders placed from the 16th of May and after will be processed for delivery after the race at the expense of the participant.
9. The ticket price for the race is 9.00€ for the Early Bird Until April 10th, 2022 23:59.59.  Then the ticket will go to 12.00€.
10. Registrations close on the 7th of June 2022 at 23:59:59.
11. The event will take place on the 11th of June 2022 starting @ 08:30.
12. Participants are obliged to fully comply with the regulations set by the organizer. They are also obliged to obey the suggestions of the individuals (eg. volunteers, reviewers) designated by the organizer. Failure to comply with the regulations or instructions will result in the exclusion penalty, with no refund or any other costs. Any person authorized by the event manager may record any infringement that he has perceived and report it to the event manager.
13. Any marking of the space provided by the event manager is temporary, intended to serve the participants, and is removed after the event.
14. Athletes are involved at their own risk and the organizing authority is not responsible for any injuries they may have, as stated in the statement of responsibility or here. However, qualified medical personnel and a fully equipped ambulance will be available. There will also be rescue teams covering the event.
15. Participants participate at their own risk and must have been examined by a physician who has found them capable of participating in the particular event. Medical advice must not be older than 30 days from the last day of the following day of the event.
16. The use of a mask is mandatory before the start and immediately after the finish of the race for all participants.
17. The use of a rapid test will be mandatory for all participants and the staff of the event within 24 hours before the start of the race or in a PCR test within 48 hours before the race. 18. Runners will be able to visit the toilets of Camping Simos, where it is located at the finish line, which follows the safety and cleanliness protocols.
19. The finish area is open (outdoor) and there will be enough space for all runners. The awards ceremony will NOT take place. The medals will all be sealed in packages at least one week before use. The medals will be located in a designated destination and will be handled individually by each winner. Attention is needed in avoiding hugs and handshakes.
20. It is strictly forbidden to dispose of any kind of object during the whole event, such as plastic bottles or any other solid or liquid food packaging material used by athletes during the event. Disposal of packaging materials or other non-organic waste anywhere on the route beyond the predetermined, carries an exclusion penalty, no refund, or any other costs.
21. The event manager undertakes to supervise the field of play with specialized personnel in safety, rescue, and medical assistance to the participants in need. In cases where security personnel and referees indicate to athletes that the event must be stopped for safety reasons, the latter is obliged to obey. Non-compliance means exclusion, no refund, or any other costs.
22. In case of need, the event manager reserves the right to postpone the start of the event in order not to endanger the physical integrity of the participants. In very extreme conditions he can cancel the event.
23. In case the event is postponed indefinitely, a full refund will be made to the participants.
24. Participant exclusion occurs for: a) Pollution of the site. b) Inappropriate behavior towards the organizing staff. c) Inappropriate behavior towards the spectators of the event. d) Non-compliance with these Regulations.
25. Εach participant responsibly declares that he has not contracted a respiratory infection at least one month before the day of the race (June 11, 2022).
26. The organizers are not responsible for the deaths, injuries, or any damage to the health of the participants who, upon submitting their request for participation, declare that they are aware of the risks involved including those allegedly attributed to the negligent acts or omissions of the foregoing that their health status is good and allows them to participate, and they have recently been examined by a doctor on this subject. However, no participant will be required to submit a medical certificate. They are obliged to perform regular medical checkups in order to check their health status. The event managers disclaim any responsibility for the physical integrity of the participants, who should behave responsibly at any dangerous points on the route. The organizers disclaim any financial responsibility in the event of outside assistance to any athlete.
27. Participants consent to be featured in photographs or any other media from the event, which shall be used exclusively to promote the current and future events.
28. The organizers have the authority to modify the rules and regulations of the event, with no further notice.

100% refund is available in the cancellation of the event due to new government regulations.

100% refunds are granted only due to physical inability followed by a doctor's note from a public hospital visit at the emergency room.

30% refunds are granted for cancelations at any time up to 10 days prior to the event.
